From A Starlight Sky

The last remains of hope faded away in this battle. The army of men were easily and effortlessly cut down by the merciless attack from down below. Even the greatest fighters could not match the strength and skill of the shadowy warriors, for even though they possessed great skill, the enemy had been bred to do this. With an intense rage, strong as the iron-clad men they grinded into the dust, who could resist something like it? The men fought without means to any end, the only purpose for them now was to inflict the least amount of damage before taken down with blood and screams. For certain, they did not know what would await them. Though they did not know that this struggle of theirs was watched from up above. The warriors diving and blazing through stars began to reach them. Soon this appearance of theirs gripped the attention from the men and even from some of the creatures, like a five new stars born in the sky. A newly born constellation, would this be the final omen before the end? But the stars were not stationary, they came closer and closer, and a trail of blazing fire was left behind them as they plunged through the sky. Shooting stars. How convenient, but what hopes they would lay on the appearance of them? A dim hope for another day? No, a grand hope like that was something they could not afford. The men kept watching at the stars in great awe, but the attention was torn from the empyrean down to the gory battlefield. Still, as magnificent as the view was, the sorrowful men kept watching the blazing lights, for they noticed that no shooting stars were so long lasting. Were these lights about to impact the battlefield? To lay an equal end for both armies by destroying everyone? Even that, though bleak it would be, was more desirable outcome than the black creatures cutting down the army of men and continuing their rampage onwards. Total annihilation. The fire was drawing nearer and men prepared for the end. But no destruction of men would came to pass this day, and into this world in wonder from the starlight sky they came. With the majesty and furiosity of a eagle in downward dive, becoming ready for a hunt. The stars struck the ground with a massive flash of light, sending the dusts of the battlefield with a shockwave around them, and splinters of rocks fragmented by the impact flied to all directions. As the dust cleared, five warriors were there. They clenched their swords into an iron-tight grip, and the secret fire covered up their blades. The wrath of the winter wolf shone from their helmets as they were encased with the blessing of the heavenly fire, and the warriors around them could feel how the surrounding air hummed with power. The warriors were enshrouded with wrath, an untamed will for destruction of this malignant breed, which came to raid worlds bearing no means to defend themselves. A courage, overflowing virtue came about them, and they did not possess even the slightest intention of losing. No codes of chivalry would be followed, no efforts to try and save as many as possible despite how wicked they were, for they were sent here for annihilation. The morals of what was right and what was wrong were about to be blurred, when these soldiers begins to slay, inflict horrors upon the wicked. And there shall be no survivors. Tonight there shall be no mercy. Even the beings bred from horrors would feel a genuine fear. They shall be consumed with a flaming end, and with blood and screams. The secret fire heaved on their blades, ready to consume and annihilate the wicked.

Foul deeds awake.
